Welcome to the first step in becoming a

Volunteer Studio Assistant

at Funky Artsmiths!

As a volunteer studio assistant, you'll work alongside our Instructors and Studio Assistants, learning how the studio runs behind the scenes while gaining hands-on experience supporting our students.

You'll learn how to:

• prepare, organize, clean, and care for studio supplies and equipment.

• help set up and transition the studio between classes, including putting away artwork and supplies, cleaning tables, and sweeping floors.

• support students during class by helping explain techniques, encouraging confidence, and assisting them with their artwork.

• represent Funky Artsmiths with kindness, enthusiasm, and professionalism as an ambassador for our studio.

Our Volunteer Studio Assistant program is the first step in learning what it takes to become a Studio Assistant.

We'll teach you, support you, and help you grow in confidence as you take on more responsibility.

As this is a mentorship program, we'll be looking for students who are excited to learn, grow, and work as part of our team.

While we'd love to welcome everyone, we have a limited number of volunteer positions available each year.
